About
the artist
Christa
Kieffer studied extensively throughout Europe before
moving to the United States to attend the Art Center
College of Design in Los Angeles. Kieffer traveled the
world frequently, photographing captivating scenery that
helped her create her paintings. She had a fellowship at
the Art Center of Design and is co-founder of Gallery
One in Point Reyes. The artist lived in a small rural
community surrounded by Point Reyes National Park in
California.
